This week, Fr. Sam and I welcome Matthew Wiseman to discuss his unique journey from a Southern Baptist upbringing to exploring the Hebrew Roots Movement to joining the Anglican Church to becoming a Catholic. We discuss everything from the challenges of living a kosher lifestyle in Texas, the significance of practicing the faith as a family, the true Jewish Roots of Christ in the Gospels and why Catholics used to rinse their hands with holy water prior to picking up the Scriptures.

We also touch on the sacramental theology of the Mass, how it makes the invisible visible, and why it’s so important we see the reality behind sacraments and symbols.
